Personality: 

Kea comes across as very well mannered and self disciplined. A free bird that doesn’t like being tied down by failure, she doubles her effort in her own way trying to achieve whatever it is she is striving for at the time but ends up frying her brain if the subject is too complex or not straight forward to work out. She hasn’t figured out yet what it is that she wants to strive for in life and so instead goes out her way to help others find what it is they are looking for and can be pretty selfless about it. Though Kea can be a bit reckless at times since she doesn’t really do the whole “think before you act” which can be both a good, and a bad thing… She tries to keeps her own emotions to herself most of the time, and will use a mix of techniques passed down to her to help her think or keep calm when needed.

History: 

In the heart of Santalune City, Kea was the second born into the Kortria family along with her two brothers, making her the middle child of family. Having inherited her strong legs from her Father, Kea was pretty tall from a young age and… pretty much hadn’t stopped growing until sometime after school, but that wasn’t the only thing she had inherited. The Pidgey also had a knack for speed. She loved nothing more than to run alongside her Father, who taught how to run fast and to run far, and with the City having great paths for Roller skating, there were plenty of paths and routes to run on that ran for miles.

Unfortunately though, being good at running wasn’t the only thing needed for school to get grades. There were plenty of other subjects that you had to learn like Maths, Science, History etc. etc. in order to pass and sadly for the Pidgey she didn’t quite… have the knack for complicated subjects. Complex sums and masses of information given at once never stuck with the bird and as soon as she began getting confused with one thing, everything else got too confusing and she would be unable to do anything which after a barrel of low grades, resulted in Kea opting to drop out of school without warning.

Of course, her parents were not too fond of the idea at all and had many talks with her about it to discuss what kind of plan of action she was going to do now. It was around this time when her Grandmother came to visit and offered Kea a proposal.

“Come with me and I’ll teach you something that needs no thinking”

And so she did. Kea set off to live with her Gran beyond the city that she used to call home and began learning the art of woodcarving in a little store in a little village. It was very different to racing, which was practically the only thing she knew. The craftsmanship was slow and calming, and if you tried to rush too fast, you’d either make a mistake or hurt yourself. It did much good to the bird who thought she couldn’t learn anything else other than how to run and it doubled as a skill that she could possibly make a living out of if she improved on it enough.

This happened all but a couple of years ago and a lot had changed since then. Her Gran had not long passed on and the not very smart bird had grown wiser. Well… A little bit. With the rest of the family busy with their own work and professions, the store was left to Kea and after much thinking; she decided to sell the store and land plot it was on and move somewhere fresh to start anew… On her own this time. With money in her pouch and what was left of her belonging in her bag, Kea set off down the road to find a new place to call home. And she had a pretty good idea which way to head to.

Hobby/job: She hand carves small wooden boxes, but hasn’t set up a store yet until she finds a place to settle.

-She starts humming to herself a lot when in a pretty chirpy mood.

-She never stopped running, even after leaving to live with her Gran and didn’t drop the habit of wearing her leg straps that she’s constantly had fixed and mended as she’s grown.

 -The TM Steel Wing was given to her by her Mother, the move was one way or another passed down through the family on the Mother’s side.

-Her Mother is a  Pidgeot, same with her big brother. Her Father a Dodrio whilst her younger brother is a Doduo. Her Gran was a Talonflame.

-Is fond of tea, her favourite being Bluk berry sage flavour

-Yes, she likes Bluk berries
